1) Round puff pastry roll.
2) Dark chocolate cubes.
3) 1 egg.
1) First i start by preheating the oven at 200 degrees Celsius and Cut the round pastry into quarts and the cut each quart into 2 equal parts so that each is like a pizza slice size. ( just like slicing a pizza)
2) Then I put the chocolate cube in the middle of the pastry and start rolling from the big end towards the smaller one.
3) Repeat for all the other 7 slices , I tuck the ends to avoid the chocolate leaking when i put it in the oven.
4) With a brush cover the croissants surface with the egg and put in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes or until they are crisp and golden brown in color.
N.B: I sometimes like to stuff these pastry slices with my favorite cheese or even smoked salmon . Its a great appetizer and is incredibly delicious.
